Hello North Shore

As of September, my husband, dog and I are residents of Northfield, IL, aka the “North Shore” of Chicago. We landed a rental house on an acre tucked away down a long driveway. It’s a funny juxtaposition feeling rural within an hour of a major city. I’ve already joined an epic gym, taken Ocho to the beach off Lake Michigan, and gotten totally lost in one of the many local nature preserves alongside deer and bunnies. No looking back.
